This is a used OEM BMW Cam / Camshaft Position Sensor, part number 7803093, removed from a donor vehicle. Also known as a crank or engine speed sensor, it monitors the rotational position of the camshaft for the DME. When this sensor fails, the engine may crank without starting, stall intermittently, or trigger a check-engine light with a timing-related code. It fits the N47 2.0L and N57 3.0L diesel engines found in several BMW models.
