This used genuine OEM sensor monitors the rotational position and speed of the camshaft, feeding that data to the engine control unit for precise fuel injection and ignition timing. When this N63/N63TU-series V8 sensor fails, common symptoms include a hard-start condition, rough idle, or an illuminated check engine light with a camshaft correlation code.
