BMW part 7164409 charcoal canister hose / line, also superseding 7164407, is a used OEM evap component removed from a donor X5 or X6. This hose connects the charcoal canister to the intake system, routing fuel vapors for proper EVAP operation. A cracked or leaking line often triggers a check engine light (EVAP system fault) and can cause rough idle or fuel smell.
