Also called a temperature sensor, it’s found in Audi and VW models with 2.0L, 2.5L, 3.0L turbo gas or mild-hybrid engines, plus the ID.4 BEV. When it fails, you may get erratic A/C or heat, or the system blows cold when set to warm.
