This used OEM BMW coil spring, originally removed from a donor vehicle, also replaces part numbers 8008629 and 8008630. It fits the rear left and rear right positions of the M3 and M4 equipped with the 3.0L 2979CC I6 gas DOHC turbocharged engine. The coil spring supports the vehicle's weight and absorbs road impacts; a failing spring can cause sagging, uneven ride height, or clunking noises. Replace in pairs for balanced handling.
