This used OEM BMW convertible top latch/lock actuator (OEM 7188243, also replaces 7188243) is the left rear latch actuator for the Z4’s folding hardtop. When the actuator fails, the top may not latch or lock correctly at the rear header, preventing the roof from fully closing or securing. It fits the Z4 with the 2.0L turbo four, 3.0L naturally aspirated or turbo inline-six, and 3.0L naturally aspirated inline-six.
