This genuine part also replaces the earlier 98656158902 and 98656158901. It fits Porsche Boxster models with the 2.5L, 2.7L, or 3.2L flat-six engines. As a friction washer and cover for the convertible top transmission, it reduces wear between moving components. A worn washer can cause jerky top movement or grinding sounds during operation.
