This is a used genuine OEM Audi Coolant Flange, part number 06E121168, also superseding 06E121161R. This plastic manifold routes engine coolant through the hoses and often houses the coolant temperature sensor. On these 2.8L and 3.2L V6 engines (including the 3.2L 3123CC and 3197CC), the original flange is prone to cracking or leaking at the seal, causing a sudden loss of coolant and potential overheating. Replacing it with this used OEM unit restores the factory fit without the aftermarket compatibility issues.
