It connects the coolant tank to the engine's vent system on multiple turbocharged 2.0L, 2.9L, 3.0L, and 4.0L engines found in Audi A4, A5, A6, Q5, Q7, and Porsche Cayenne and Macan models. A cracked or clogged breather hose can cause coolant loss or steam from the reservoir.
