This BMW coolant vent tube (OEM 7534917) is a genuine used hose from a donor vehicle. Also known as a vent line or coolant hose, it routes coolant through the engine's cooling system and vents trapped air to prevent hot spots. When this Nylon or rubber tube cracks or its seals fail, you may notice coolant puddles under the car, a drop in reservoir level, or elevated engine temperatures. It was originally installed on BMW 550i and 650i models with the 4.8L V8 (N62 family).
