Audi crankshaft / crank pulley OEM 079105253C is a used genuine component, also superseding 079105253. This pulley drives the accessory belt on the 4.2L V8 (4163cc) found in the Audi R8. When failing, it may cause belt slippage, vibration, or a knocking sound from the front of the engine. The crank pulley is also known simply as the crankshaft pulley and mounts directly to the nose of the crankshaft to transfer rotation.
