This used BMW CV axle shaft (OEM 8643183, also replaces 31608680337) is a genuine OE front left axle shaft removed from a donor vehicle. Also known as a drive axle or half-shaft, it transfers power from the transmission to the front wheel while allowing suspension travel. A worn CV axle often produces a clicking or popping noise when turning, especially at low speeds. This part fits select BMW X3 and X4 models with turbocharged four- and six-cylinder engines, including the 2.0L and 3.0L units.
