This used OEM Audi/VW CV Axle Shaft Shield (5Q0407720A) is a genuine front shield removed from a donor vehicle. Also replaces 5Q0407720. It sits over the inner CV joint to block road debris from damaging the boot. When missing or cracked, dirt and grit can tear the boot, leading to grease loss and premature joint wear. Designed for turbocharged four-cylinder Audis and Volkswagens.
