This BMW differential vent hose (OEM 7612743) is a genuine used part from a salvage donor. Also called the vent line, it mounts at the front differential on certain 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder BMW X1, X3, and X4 models. The hose allows the differential to breathe, equalizing internal pressure as the lubricant heats and cools. If it cracks or clogs, seal leaks and gear noise can follow.
