This valve recirculates excess boost pressure when the throttle closes, preventing compressor surge. It also replaces 06H145710C, 06H145710F, and 06H145710J. Common across Audi and VW models with 1.8T, 2.0T, and 2.5T engines (including EA888 and 5-cylinder variants), a failing unit causes boost leaks, reduced power, or a fluttering noise during deceleration.
