This used BMW door brake / check rod (OEM 7269354) replaces superseded numbers 7446719 and 7446720. Fits the front left or right side on several 2-series and M2 models, including those with 2.0L turbo and 3.0L turbo engines. The check rod controls door hold-open positions and prevents the door from swinging too far. When worn, doors may fail to stay open on inclines or droop slightly.
