This used OEM BMW door brake / check rod (OEM 7400139, also replaces 7288177) is designed for the left rear door of an i3 or i3s. It holds the door open at intermediate positions and prevents it from swinging in wind or on inclines. The rod provides smooth resistance as the door moves through its range. This genuine BMW part was removed from a donor vehicle and is ready for installation.
