A used genuine BMW Door Upper Latch Striker, OEM part number 7266739, originally removed from a donor vehicle. This left, rear striker is the metal loop that the door latch catches to secure the door closed. It fits the BMW i3 and i3s — both the range-extended 0.6L 647CC I2 and the full battery-electric (EV/BEV) powertrains. No reprogramming is needed; this is a straightforward mechanical replacement. A worn or damaged striker can cause the door to rattle or not close securely.
