The Porsche dual-mass flywheel (OEM 97011402022, also replaces 97011402021) is a used genuine part removed from a Panamera with the 4.8L V8 engine—both naturally aspirated and turbocharged versions. This flywheel incorporates a spring-and-mass design to dampen crankshaft vibrations, reducing drivetrain noise and protecting the transmission from shock loads. A failing dual-mass flywheel often causes clutch chatter, increased vibration during engagement, or a rattling sound at idle.
