BMW Eccentric Shaft Sensor, OEM part number 7527017. This used genuine OEM sensor also replaces 7513784 and 7506500. It monitors the position of the valvetronic eccentric shaft, which controls valve lift on N62 and N73 V8 and V12 engines. When this sensor fails, you may get a valvetronic malfunction code or reduced engine performance.
