Used BMW OEM ECU DME / Cas3 Theft Locking Module / Lock Cylinder W/ Key, part number 8631728. This genuine module also replaces 8661467, 8626899, 8617570, and other 86-series numbers. It controls engine management and integrates the immobilizer for the 2.0L turbo four-cylinder. When the DME or theft-lock function fails, the vehicle may crank without starting or display a security fault. This part must be coded to your VIN after installation by a qualified shop or dealer.
