This used BMW ECU DME / Cas4 Theft Locking Module / Lock Cylinder W/ Key, OEM part number 7632115, also replaces 8618449, 7645465, and 7629420. It integrates the engine control module with the theft-deterrent locking system for the 3.0L 2979CC I6 gas turbocharged engine. When this module fails, the vehicle may not start or recognize the key. Programming is required—this unit must be coded to your vehicle's VIN by a qualified shop or dealer upon installation.
