This used OEM ECU DME / Cas4 Theft Locking Module / Lock Cylinder W/ Key (BMW part 7635715) integrates engine control, immobilizer security, and ignition lock functions into a single unit. It also replaces 7649123, 7644748, 7646764, and six other numbers from the same series. Designed for the 2.0L turbocharged I4 found in BMW 528i and X3 models, a failure can trigger a no-start condition due to lost key recognition or immobilizer faults. On installation, this module must be coded to your vehicle’s VIN by a qualified shop or dealer.
