This used BMW 7548566 ECU DME / EWS Theft Locking Module / Lock Cylinder with Key integrates engine control, immobilizer, and ignition lock functions. Also replaces 7561476, 7544316, 7549110, and over a dozen more 75-series numbers. For the 3.0L inline-six in the Z4, a failure often leaves the engine cranking but not starting due to the theft-locking circuit. This unit must be coded to your vehicle/VIN on install.
