BMW ECU DME / Ews4 Theft Locking Module / Lock Cylinder W/ Key (OEM 7587166) – a used genuine part from a donor vehicle. This module combines the engine computer, theft immobilizer electronics, and a lock cylinder with key. It also replaces a series of other OEM numbers including 7602216, 7594485, and many others. Designed for BMWs with the 3.0L naturally aspirated inline-six. When the module fails, common symptoms include a no-start despite electrical power or the engine stalling while driving. Since programming is required, this unit must be coded to your vehicle's VIN by a qualified shop or dealer.
