This genuine BMW ECU / Engine Module Box Housing Cover (upper), OEM 1714090 (also replaces 0148750), is a used part removed from a donor vehicle. It protects the engine control module and wiring from dirt and moisture. Designed for BMW 7 Series models with V8 and V12 engines, it secures the top of the module box. A cracked or missing cover can allow water intrusion into the ECU, leading to electrical faults.
