This used OEM EGR Valve (7807928) was removed from a BMW X5. It recirculates exhaust gas into the intake to lower combustion temperatures and reduce NOx emissions. On the 3.0L 2993CC I6 diesel (DOHC, turbocharged), a failing EGR can cause rough idle, hesitation under load, or trigger the check engine light.
