A used genuine OEM Audi electric cooling fan, part number 8D0959457B, pulls air through the radiator to prevent engine overheating. This front-mounted fan also replaces several earlier Audi cooling fans, including 4B3959457 and 4D0959457A. It is compatible with 1.8L turbo, 2.7L twin-turbo, 2.8L naturally aspirated, and 4.2L V8 engines found in Audi A4, A6, Allroad, S4, and S6 models. A common failure is a seized motor or burned-out resistor pack, causing the fan to stop and the engine to overheat at idle.
