This is a used genuine BMW electric cooling fan blade, OEM part number 8641964, also replacing 8621192, 7640511, and 7600559. The fan blade moves air through the radiator to prevent overheating, and a broken blade can cause loud vibration or insufficient cooling at idle. It fits 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder and 3.0L turbocharged six-cylinder engines from the 2 Series, 3 Series, and 4 Series, including the M235i and ActiveHybrid 3.
