This used BMW electric cooling fan housing / shroud mount bracket, OEM part number 2283924, came from a donor M5, M6, or M6 Gran Coupe. Designed for the 4.4L V8 turbocharged engine, it securely holds the fan shroud and cooling fan assembly in place to maintain proper airflow. A cracked or broken bracket can cause the fan to wobble or contact the radiator, leading to overheating. Also known as the fan shroud mount bracket.
