This genuine fan motor, also known as an electric cooling fan, replaces earlier numbers 8621193, 7640512, and 17428641965. It mounts to the radiator shroud and pulls air across the core to regulate coolant temperature on 2.0L turbo diesel (N47), 2.0L turbo gas (N20), and 3.0L turbo gas (N55) engines. When the motor fails, the engine may overheat at idle or the fan may run continuously.
