BMW Emergency / Parking Brake Actuator, OEM part 6868044 — a used genuine unit removed from a donor vehicle. Also replaces 6881647, 6877315, 6869478, and 6864132 (the 68xxx series). This actuator controls the electric parking brake on G Series 7-series and Alpina B7 models with 3.0L inline-6, 4.4L V8, or 6.0L V12 engines (including turbocharged and hybrid variants). A common failure symptom is the parking brake not engaging or disengaging, accompanied by a dashboard warning message.
