This is a used OEM BMW engine air intake hose / duct, genuine part number 7934482. It connects the air filter box to the turbocharger inlet on the right side of the engine. This duct routes filtered air into the 4.4L V8 twin-turbo engine found in the 750i xDrive, M550i xDrive, M850i xDrive, and Alpina B7. A cracked or collapsed hose can cause unmetered air to enter the system, triggering a lean mixture or low boost code.
