This intake duct routes filtered air from the airbox to the turbocharger on EA888 1.8L and 2.0L TSI/TFSI engines. It also replaces several earlier versions including 5Q0129635P, 5Q0129635L, and others in the 5Q0 series. A cracked or split intake tube can cause unmetered air entry, triggering a lean-running condition, rough idle, or a P0171 system too lean code.
