This used OEM Porsche engine belt cover, part number 98650418100, shields the accessory drive belt on Boxster and Cayman models equipped with the M96/M97 flat-six engine (2.5L to 3.4L). Also called a belt shield, it prevents road debris from contacting the belt and keeps the engine bay tidy. A cracked or missing cover can let grit into the belt path, causing premature wear or belt noise. Exactly as removed from one donor vehicle.
