This genuine unit secures the camshaft in the cylinder head, maintaining proper valvetrain timing and oil pressure. Designed for the 3.6L V6 (3597/3598cc) naturally aspirated engines found in the Q7, Atlas, and Touareg. A worn or misaligned bearing cap can cause camshaft binding, ticking noises, or oil seepage around the head.
