This BMW Engine Cam / Camshaft Bearing Cap (OEM ra1) is a used genuine part removed from a donor vehicle. Also known as a cam bearing cap, it replaces OEM numbers 0439113, 0427287, and 0417555. Designed for the 4.8L 4837CC V8 DOHC gas engine, this cap secures the camshaft in the cylinder head. A worn or damaged cap can cause valvetrain noise, improper cam alignment, or oil leaks. Each cap is machined to tight tolerances for correct journal clearance on the camshaft.
