This cylinder head is designed for the 4.2L 4163CC V8 DOHC naturally aspirated gas engine found in the Audi R8. It seals the combustion chamber and houses the valvetrain; a failing head can cause compression loss, overheating, or external coolant leaks from a cracked casting.
