Used BMW engine hood seal / weather stripping, OEM part number 7143757. This front-mounted seal also replaces 7227933, 7159605, and 7159606. It seals the gap between the hood and the front bulkhead, preventing water, debris, and wind noise from entering the engine bay. When the original seal hardens or cracks, it can allow moisture to reach sensitive components or cause a noticeable increase in cabin noise.
