This plate secures the engine to the chassis on 4.0L turbocharged V8 applications (3993cc) found in the Audi A8 Quattro, RS7, S6, S7, and S8. When this plate is worn or damaged, it can cause excessive engine movement, leading to misaligned belts or driveline vibration.
