This is the oil filler neck and tube for the 4.0L W8 engine (3998cc, DOHC, naturally aspirated). A cracked or leaking oil filler neck can cause oil drips onto the exhaust or engine bay, triggering smoke or burning smells. A deteriorated seal may also allow unmetered air into the crankcase.
