This sensor (also replaces 94860616001) monitors oil level in the pan for Porsche Cayenne and Panamera models with 3.6L V6, 4.8L V8 naturally aspirated, or 4.8L V8 turbo engines. A failing oil level sensor often causes false low-oil warnings or inaccurate dashboard readings.
