This is a used genuine OEM engine oil pickup / oil strainer, part number 0P2115155D, removed from a donor vehicle. It also replaces 0P2115155B. This critical component draws oil from the pan into the pump for the 4.0L twin-turbo V8 MHEV engines found in Audi S8, RS6, and RS Q8 models. A failing pickup can cause low oil pressure, leading to top-end engine noise or a warning light.
