Porsche 94810708512 Engine Oil Windage Tray / Baffle – a used genuine OEM unit. Also supersedes 94810708511. This windage tray (also called a baffle) sits inside the oil pan on 4.8L V8 engines (naturally aspirated and turbocharged). Its job is to reduce oil slosh and prevent the oil pickup from sucking air under hard acceleration or cornering. A cracked or missing baffle can lead to intermittent oil pressure loss and engine damage.
