This is a used, genuine OEM Land Rover engine plate, part number CK5Q6K301AA, also superseding LR036542. It serves as the rear crankshaft sealing cover for the 3.0L V6 diesel engine (2993cc, DOHC, turbocharged). This plate seals the back of the crankshaft to prevent oil leaks from the engine block. A failing cover can cause a visible rear main seal oil drip or loss.
