Audi engine start/stop switch, OEM part number 8W1905217E (also replaces 8W1905217A and 8W1905217C), is a genuine used component from a donor vehicle. This button engages or disables the automatic start-stop function, which shuts the engine at idle to save fuel. A common failure is the switch becoming unresponsive or intermittent, preventing the system from reactivating the engine after stopping. It is found on 2.9L V6 turbocharged and 3.0L V6 supercharged/turbocharged engines in select Audi S and RS models.
