Used OEM Audi R8 engine timing chain sprocket, original part number 079109565AP. This timing chain gear / sprocket also supersedes 079100032R and 079100033C. Designed for the 4.2L 4163cc V8 DOHC naturally aspirated engine, a worn sprocket can cause timing chain slack, rattling noise, and eventual valve timing errors. It must be installed correctly to maintain proper engine synchronization.
