Used BMW engine timing cover, OEM part number 8632012, also supersedes 8687456. This genuine OEM cover seals the front of the engine, protecting the timing chain and guides from debris and oil loss. A failing timing cover often leaks oil from the front seal or behind the harmonic balancer. Fits BMW 228i, M235i, X1, and X2 models with the 1.5L B38 or 2.0L B48 turbocharged engines.
