Used BMW OEM engine valve cover / cylinder head cover, part number 7508778, also replaces 7548850. This left-side cover seals the valvetrain on the 4.8L N62 V8 engine, preventing oil leaks and keeping debris out of the cylinder head. A failing cover often causes oil seepage around the gasket or a burning smell from the engine bay.
