This used genuine OEM BMW engine valve cover, part number 7611278 (also replaces 11127611278), is the cylinder head cover for 2.0L turbocharged and PHEV four-cylinder engines (B48/B46 series). It seals the top of the cylinder head, containing the valvetrain and camshafts. A common failure symptom is a cracked cover or degraded gasket causing oil leaks, rough idle, or a check engine light.
